Video Monitoring

IP video monitoring represents a specially complex case for real-time service management. 

Unlike VoIP, there is no Mean Opinion Score metric for video transmission. However, the H.264 standard for video compression incorporates many features to compensate for any network or service defect that might otherwise affect the quality of the video experience. Using Streamline, managers of video conferencing systems and managed service providers can capture the operational state of SNMP-capable endpoints and all manner of network devices between the endpoints in a standard, high definition or telepresence video session.

Engineers can diagnose the levels of minimum bandwidth allocated to IP video and can investigate session cross-sections.
